Finding the IP Address
Viewing IP Address on the Control Panel:
- Turn on your the Xerox AltaLink C8130/35/45/55/70 and wait for at least 2 minutes.
- Press the 'Home' button on the printer control panel.
- Navigate to 'Device' and Then select 'About' .
- The IP address will be displayed under 'Network' for either 'Wired IPv4 Address' or 'Wired IPv6 Address'.
- Note down the IP address displayed.
Obtaining IP Address from the Configuration Report:
- Press the 'Home' button on the printer control panel.
- Go to 'Device' and Then 'Information Pages' .
- Select either 'Basic Configuration Report' or 'Detailed Configuration Report' and press 'Print' .
- The printed report will include the IP address in the 'Common User Data' section.
- Changing Network Settings
Once you have obtained the IP address, follow these steps to access and modify the network settings:
- Enter the IP address in a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) to access the printer's.
- Embedded Web Server. Login as Admin.
- Navigate to the network or connectivity settings section.
- Change the desired settings, such as IP address, subnet mask, gateway, or DNS configurations.
- Save your changes and restart the printer if necessary to apply the new settings.
